The lodge sits on the Longton family’s working farm, owned and run by Thomas Longton, an award-winning shepherd and sheepdog trainer. His deep connection to the land and lifelong experience with sheepdogs give guests a unique opportunity to experience authentic countryside life. I booked this house 2 years ago for a special birthday, we stayed here for a week. We also had our two children partners and a dog. Thomas was always very helpful and friendly and the house spotless and very comfortable.We had an afternoon party here and had over 30 people and the house did not seem overcrowded as we used the garden too.I booked this particular house as it was near to my family, but equally easy for Lancaster and surrounding areas.Would definiately book this again i have just recommended a friend toenquire.
